Sparking up a conversation with total strangers is the bane of my husband’s anonymity, but part of my charm. We compromise and I only strike up a chat when they break the silence. Southern hospitality tested that compromise because everyone wanted to know more about the little fearless Hispanic guy who is always smiling.
