Schiff show

After the house resolution to impeach our President, Adam Schiff returned to his district for the holiday break. Tonight was Adam’s first appearance in his district in many months, patriots were there. The event commemorated the passage of the resolution to recognize the Armenian genocide of 1915, and the patriots weren’t going to let shifty Schiff relish any of his victories.

I arrived and sat quietly while the speakers fawned over Adam and his years long accomplishment. Although this bill was never brought up or passed when Democrats had an overwhelming majority in 2008. When it was Schiff’s turn to take the stage I and others expressed our disdain. As he began to speak, one patriot interrupted and the Schiff show really began. Before long, another patriot flashed a Trump 2020 flag and disgruntled atrendees wrestled it from him. A total of 3 people reached out to grab his flag and prevent his outburst. Instead of allowing security to remove the disruptors, attendees became violent and unhinged.

When one man managed to take the patriot’s property I immediately began the process of shaming the thief. Shouting “theif theif thief” resulted in a chorus that forced the gentlemen to toss the flag on the ground to avoid further insult. Witnessing this entire event unfold I took it upon myself to return the stolen and discarded property. Pushing my way through the crowd in spiked heels I grabbed the flag and returned it to its rightful owner.

Soon after order was restored I found myself the subject of of photographs by disgruntled atrendees. Watching a man in pro right wing regala and high heeled shoes care return stolen property drew attention. I posed with as much sass as possible and handed out the business cards to my page from my chair. “Take a business card, it’ll last longer.”

One woman actually tapped my shoulder and wanted to understand my position and reason for being there and I explained that I was there as an observer, nothing more. I express myself in my attire but only spoke up when someone was wronged. Stealing should be decried every time and I’m sensitive to the fact that we were there to commemorate the passage of a historic bill. This was Schiff’s first appearance on the west coast and it was important to attend. She sat back confident that I was not there to desecrate the memory of her grandparents; others not so much and I heard her speaking Farsi to the woman taking my picture.

As the event concluded we watched another video commemorating the passage of the bill and Senator Ted Cruz flashed his sentiments for a moment. That moment was long enough for me to clap as loud as I could and shout Ted’s name. Every eye was on me once again. The large gentleman who bullied patriots gave me a death stare that I faced head on. I locked his gaze and refused to back down from my support of Senator Cruz.

As awards began, I excused myself to the lobby being as quiet as possible. I certainly didn’t want to watch anyone fawn over Adam Schiff anymore and I needed a break. Walking out I was chided by an older woman who proceeded to get louder every time I “shhushed” her. I looked around and motioned that I was trying to be respectful while she became more and more unhinged.

Leaving the library I found my tribe and we held an impromptu flag drop. Several media outlets showed up and I took it upon myself to remind the audience that Adam recieves donations from Ed Buck. On the surface that may seem insignificant, but I followed up my statement with the fact that Ed Buck drugged and killed 3 black men in the past few years. Drawing such a heinous parallel caused the cameras to focus on the message and hopefully listen. One voice may seem like a drop in the ocean, but millions of drops make waves that cannot be ignored. Adam Schiff was thrown off his game and patriots let their voices be heard tonight.
