As days come and days go, liberals it seems, are pushing more and more for the destruction of what made our country great. How long before they succeed and we’re all sent to the gulags? Personal Liberty, religious freedoms, and even the rich are being attacked to the point where the sheeple froth at the mouth chanting for their “piece of the pie”. Rush said yesterday on his show that they seem to have woken up suddenly and those evil rich stole their wealth (or that’s what they believe).
It’s been several months since our disheartening loss, yet it seems we’re still eating crow. Our speaker is weak, the House passes package after package with Senate stalling and doing everything EXCEPT pass a budget. Their one job, the one we elected them to do, has not been completed in over 1,300 days, but no one makes a peep (except Hannity). As my country struggles to stabilize it’s more divided than ever into those who believe they’re owed and those who believe they’re being hosed. The sad truth is many are uninformed and those who are not on guard may end up on the wrong end of their elected officials legislation. Sure you put them there to represent you, but unless you’ve done your homework and stay abreast, many will continue to re-elect the same people because of name recognition or party affiliation paying no credence to the work they’ve done or subceded.
Hopefully the American people will wake up, but I’m pessimistic. I guess all I can do is keep writing and sharing, but I will be honest, it’s tough when the world seems to be against you. I will continue to do my homework and vote for officials who deserve the position, not who paid for it. I will keep guard for you and will set my sights on those who would legislate my rights away as well as fire any official that betrays me. Welcome to my gulag.
