LAUSD Speech

This was the speech that I delivered to @LASchools on Tuesday.

Hard facts have a way of making people uncomfortable and this board was no exception.

“Gay isn’t pretty, it isn’t safe, and it’s definitely not a lesson plan.”

My name is Mario and I’m the West Coast Lead of Gays Against Groomers. We’re a coalition of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender people who oppose the sexualization and indoctrination of children. Curriculum based in Science, Math and Language, are necessary to the foundation of our youth, not inclusivity, representation, nor equity. I represent the thousands of voices online and in your community who say “NO! Los niños femeninos no son mujeres! Y tu currículo borra los homosexuales y los pone en peligro!”

A person simply cannot tell if a child’s variant sexual behavior or gender non conformity will result in them identifying as transgender in adulthood. A 2008 study by Wallien published in the Journal of American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry showed that more than 80% of gender non comforming children simply grow up to be adult homosexuals. A 2021 survey of detransitioners by L. Littman shows that gender dysphoria disappears for 80% of children simply by naturally completing puberty.

It is equally irresponsible to teach students how to use phone apps and chats away from their parents by creating safe spaces for them to explore these feelings. Now we have Queer all year?!?! Your district’s hyper focus on sexuality is horrifying. LGBT is not a lesson plan.

Gay isn’t safe, and it isn’t pretty. In fact, it’s very predatory and rife with substance abuse. Party and play, that’s what they say right?!?! Gross…

In 2021, a Michigan hairdresser was lured to his death by a date on Grindr who slit his throat then ate his testicles. Stephen Port of London, UK lured four men to their deaths in 2014 using the same application. January 2020 a missing Transgender woman in DC is found to have overdosed after an exhaustive search. None of those families will ever see their queer children again. Are you here to protect the children of your district or traumatize them?

Google these three words “Grindr, Date, Dead” The results will shock you.

Aside from the real risk of death, sexual trauma never fades from the mind or the body. Parents are watching, and so is the world. Reverse course from these policies immediately because when a child is raped in school like in Loudon County, Virginia because they affirmed a predator’s gender, parents will not be understanding.

The sexually violated are never the same again, and I would know. That’s exactly why I’m here advocating for the protection of these children. Teach them to see around corners, don’t push them into the waiting arms of predators or pharmaceuticals.
