Country kids have no questions about what gender they are, or how sex works because they’ve been witnessing birth and death as a part of daily life. City kids think their food comes from a grocery store and have no idea how much work is involved in growing produce. Food is life, but life is also food. We need to respect the cycle and stay connected to it, otherwise we lose our humanity.
