Suppressing the Justice System
Many of us learned about bully behavior and intimidation as children. Whether it’s movies, or personal moments, we know strong arm tactics when we see them. But what happens when you don’t see the strong arm and only the result? One may think that the outcome is justice served, but if we don’t see the intimidation happening, how can we be sure?
George Floyd is still dead and Derrick Chauvin is being crucified by the court of public opinion and the justice system. His look of disbelief was heartbreaking as the jury read the verdict, while throngs of #BLM supporters gleefully cheered. They marched through the streets as if their team won a sporting event and Nancy Pelosi even thanked George for his dutiful sacrifice on the public altar.
The jurors get to return to their lives in relative safety because they did not disagree with the mob. During reconstruction when blacks were charged with crimes and whites intimidated juries for the result they wanted, it was wrong. Now the reverse is happening and its still very wrong. Over the past three weeks I’m sure these jurors were followed home after the days testimony and before the verdict was read, their identities were revealed by media outlets.
No one wanted to be a part of this case and watching the jury selection, I noticed something very interesting. The jurors who WERE selected, had biases that were suppressed in order to make the “cut.” Tell people what they want to hear and they’ll give you whatever you want; children use this tactic on their parents. The main stream media refused let the case fall into anenimity and when Maxine Waters pontificated on the pending litigation, it reminded me of when Jimmy Hoffa was caught tampering with a jury. These jurors knew full well that if they ruled anything other than guilty on all counts, we’d see 12 dead families today.
So now I have to ask: If people scouted your home, threatened you for coming forward, or demanded you say “guilty” , would you?
Just a thought…
