I know you see me

With shadowbanning on everyone’s lips and people jumping to Parler in droves, I march on.  We’ve added another platform to the belt and I keep doing what I do best, make conseratvism look fierce. My voice has been suppressed for a long time but what algorithms can’t do, is take away my drive. My face, my flag, my visibility is growing, and I’m proud to say that I have a little bit of help from a pretty powerful voice.

I haven’t been invited to the White House, and I don’t get a check from Donald Trump for my activism… unless we’re all activists, cos we all got a fat check from the Treasury (I know not all, but it’s for effect, calm down Karen)! I wanted to see our President up close, and I did, twice. Being first, or early has always been a part of my personality. My parents were habitually late to most appointments, but they had 4 raucous boys who were like greased pigs, so who can fault them. As the oldest, I was always the first one ready and waiting for everyone else to catch up. Patience became second nature and being first has paid off twice when attending a Trump Rally. I’ve been a part of two campaign videos from the Trump team, and while the first one cut off my rainbow, the second made my flag the most famous flag in the world.

Sure, the first group in line gets photos and interviews, but first in line becomes like a badge. As with police, a badge or status can corrupt, or can create; I chose the latter. I create a space for everyone to feel comfortable and welcome. Just because I’m at the front, doesn’t detract from everyone else’s importance behind me. I engage people, befriend strangers, and alert my peers when a dangerous element threatens our safety. I do this wherever I go, not just at a Trump rally. I do this, because I have a responsibility to use my voice for the betterment of everyone around me.  On my way home from Arizona, I burst into tears because my small voice was being noticed by not just those making videos, but also those behind the man himself.

Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others fear my platform because I am the antithesis to what their leftist mob believes. I endure because every conservative voice is important and I KNOW my voice is reaching father than I’m being told by analytics. I’ve formed connections that empower me to keep going. I know you see me President Trump, I see you too. I’ll see you when you come rally on the west coast again because I love my conservative family and one day I’ll get to shake your hand.
