Grassroots organizers are in full battle mode during the Coronavirus lock down Democratic leaders are imposing. California’s blue utopia is coming to a swift end with the reclaiming of District 25, my district.
Our corner of the country has been on Trump’s radar and I’m more than certain that he’s been watching everything that happens here. Yesterday he tweeted @fogcitymidge and her interview of my friend Stephen(@realtalkperiod). Stephen is a giant person and doesn’t fit the stereotype of an old white Trump supporter. Our group jokes that he’s the Grand Wizard of our squad because he’s very visibly NOT a white supremacist.
In this fast paced media world, we forget events that happened a few weeks ago and month old tweets are ancient history. However, I have a mind like a trap for this stuff and I know that my friend Lisa (@patriotladylisa) was tweeted by POTUS also. She arranged a flag wave on Interstate 15 that got lots of attention, and a nod from the man himself.
I’m not a braggart, but both times I’ve been to President Trump’s rallies, I’ve been interviewed. I was also in a video tweet following one rally and my very noticeable flag was in another.
He is watching us. We are putting California in play for conservatives and it emboldens me to know that we are being noticed. We’re being targeted by elements who don’t want to see atypical conservatives, but we will press on. My squad is not a typical monochromatic bloc by any means, but we are a family.
